The speech of Stefani Renato Prize

Ladies and Gentlemen

Today is the Stefani Renato prize award ceremony.
I’m Dr.Tin San Oo, came from Burma. I’m a little bit excited because
I’ve just seen Samurai.
I’ve been awarded Stefani Renato prize for this year.
Thanks Yasuhiro Koike, chair person and executive committee.
Now I’m genuinely motivated by this prize to live for the weak, the poor, and the needy people.

I must say so sorry because my Japanese friend said
that the Italian priest, Stefani Renato died of road traffic accident in East Timor.

I’d like to correlate Stefani Renato foundation and the current world order.
We, human race, have lost so many lives because of wars, diseases, and natural disasters.
It has been terrible waste of human lives.
That’s why we must try to save the people who do desperately want to live in spite of extreme poverty and famine.

In conclusion, I hereby emphasize the principle said by and an anonymous intellectual is that
“Only a life lived for others is a life worthwhile.”
It means that only the people live for others, especially the weak, the poor and the needy people are the happiest ones in the world.

‘Arigatou Gozaimasu’.
